Agreement between Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank and Antarprerana to launch new ventures

Kathmandu- An agreement has been signed between Kamana Sewa Vikas Bank Antarprerna Pvt. Ltd. with the objective of encouraging new entrepreneurs. The main objective of the agreement is to assist emerging entrepreneurs in the country by conducting necessary programs for strengthening SMEs and startups with equity fungi as well as boot camps and other business development programs to strengthen the emerging enterprises, the bank said. The agreement is aimed at creating a meaningful and long-term impact on the local economy through the collaboration of these two organizations, with the aim of complementing each other by combining the skills, strengths and resources of each side to support entrepreneurs with SMES, start-ups. Inauguration of two new school buildings in Sarlahi constructed with the support of India

Kathmandu- The inauguration of two new school buildings in Sarlahi district constructed under the grant assistance of the Government of India has been completed. With the financial support of the Government of India, new school buildings of Shree Bal Govinda Janata Higher Secondary School at Pipariya, Kawilasi-2 and Netragunj, Shree Janata Madhyamik Vidyalaya at Lalbandi-1 have been inaugurated. Deputy Chief of Mission of the Indian Embassy Namagya Khampa inaugurated the new school buildings of the two schools. Local representatives, district coordination committee officials, school management committee and locals were present at the inauguration ceremony. Shree Bal Govinda Janata Higher Secondary School was established in 1960 and Shree Janata Madhyamik Vidyalaya was established in 1962. Both these schools had only primary education facilities. Netragaunj-based Shree Janata Secondary School is also being used for management and teaching of technical education. Also, as the area is densely populated, the existing infrastructure is insufficient to meet the educational needs of the children in the area. The new school building will create a good environment for study in remote areas and will also contribute to the educational development of the district. Indian Foreign Minister Addressed International Conference on Nepal’s Reconstruction

Kathmandu- Foreign Minister of India Dr. S. Jayashankar (EAM) has addressed the International Conference on Reconstruction of Nepal through video message. He also congratulated the Government of Nepal on organizing the event, which provided valuable opportunities for Nepal to learn from the 2015 earthquake and to share with its international partners the experiences of emergency response, reconstruction and rehabilitation. The Indian Ambassador to Nepal was also present on the occasion. In its address, EAM said that at the first international conference on Nepal’s reconstruction on June 25, 2015, the Indian government had pledged US १ 1 billion for the reconstruction of earthquake victims. A quarter of this was pledged to be used in the areas of health, cultural heritage, housing and education. Over the past five years or more, India has significantly fulfilled its commitments under various priority areas identified by the Government of Nepal. He also said that 50,000 private houses have been rebuilt in Gorkha and Nuwakot districts with Indian assistance. Projects in the remaining areas of health, education and culture are also moving forward. Omicron virus infection confirmed in Nepal
