India to issue UDID for disability friendly environment

Birgunj- India is going to issue UDID (Unique Disability Identity) to create a disability friendly environment. This information was given by Consul General Nitesh Kumar at a program organized by the Indian Embassy in Birgunj on Monday as part of the Amrit Mahotsav Special Week of Independence. Nepal Medical College announces free admission in OPD and Emergency

Kathmandu- Nepal Medical College, Jorpati Attarkhel has decided to give 100 percent discount on various services for one month. College has announced a one-month exemption for patients coming to the health service for treatment. According to Basaruddhin Ansari, managing director of the college,  all types of general wards were provided free of cost to the poor, helpless and weak financially ill patients. The college has given 100 percent discount in the admission fee for emergency, OPD and general wards from 15th, Poush to 15th Magh (30th Dec to 29th Jan). Patients who come to the college for any treatment now do not have to pay for OPD tickets for one month, while staying in general wards only pays 50 percent of the expenses. “We have given 100 per cent discount on patient registration and admission fee to all patients coming to the emergency room, 100 per cent discount on registration of both new and old patients in OPD and 50 percent discount on bed fee to patients coming in ordinary beds,” said Managing Director Ansari at a press conference.
