Lalitpur – Bajrabarahi Chapagaun Hospital is continuously improving and becoming more equipped with each passing day. Since its establishment as a regional hospital, it has made significant progress in providing healthcare services.
The hospital began major surgeries in month of Poush with the first-ever appendicitis operation, and now it has successfully completed five major surgeries within just five days.
From Falgun 9 to 13, the hospital conducted three general surgeries – one for appendicitis, one for perianal abscess, and one for bilateral inguinal hernia – as well as two orthopedic surgeries – one for forearm plating and one for humerus soft plating. Of these, four patients have already been discharged, while the hernia patient is currently in the post-op ward. The patient’s condition is reported to be stable, according to hospital sources.
Dr. Ankur Paudel, the Medical Superintendent of the hospital, mentioned that preparations are underway to begin conducting C-section surgeries soon.
Under the leadership of the new chief and management team, the hospital has made significant improvements and added more facilities in a short time. These efforts have contributed to a notable advancement in regional healthcare services.
