Pokhara – The Indian Embassy in Nepal organized a Kathak dance program on the banks of the picturesque Fewa Lake in Pokhara on Thursday. The performance was presented by an eight-member dance troupe, supported by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations.
The program was inaugurated by Pokhara Metropolitan City Mayor Dhanraj Acharya. The program was attended by members of parliament from the province and senior government officials.
Mayor Acharya emphasized that Nepal and India have long had civilizational and cultural ties and that this has worked to unite the people of both countries. The program saw a significant participation of spectators from all walks of life.
