Kathmandu – A meeting was held between the Indian Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and a delegation of Nepali MPs.

The Nepalese delegation reached New Delhi on the invitation of the International Committee of the Indian Parliament and held a meeting with the Indian Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Muralidharan on Thursday.

Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Muralidharan welcomed the Nepali MP and discussed the special relations between the two countries.

He said after the meeting of the Nepali Parliament, “It is a pleasure to organize the Parliamentary Committee on International Relations and Tourism of Nepal under the leadership of Honorable Member of Parliament Rajkishore Yadav at Hyderabad House, New Delhi. I would like to emphasize on the positive momentum in India (Nepal) relations and continue parliamentary exchanges.

The International Relations and Tourism Parliamentary Team under the Federal Parliament will study the parliamentary system of India till February 6.

The 11-member team led by the chairman of the committee Rajkishore Yadav reached New Delhi on a flight of the national flag carrier Nepal Airlines on Tuesday.

India’s Chief of Protocol and Joint Secretary of the Indian Parliament welcomed the Nepalese team in Delhi. It is said that the parliamentary team will inspect the Indian new parliament building and meet with the speaker, foreign minister and tourism minister.

Along with Yadav, the team includes Sunita Baral, Chhiring Bahadur Lhamu Lama Tamang, Yakkan Thapaliya, Yogesh Gauchan, Hari Upreti, Shishir Khanal and Gangaram Chaudhary.
