Kathmandu – India has provided the second batch of emergency relief materials for the Jajarkot earthquake affected families.

Prashant Srivastava, Deputy Chief of Mission of the Indian Embassy, handed over to Banke Chief District Officer Shravan Kumar Pokharel in the presence of Nepalgunj Mayor Prashant Bista on Monday.

9 tons of relief materials including essential medical and cleaning materials, tripal, sleeping bags and blankets were brought to Nepalgunj by a special C-130 aircraft of the Indian Air Force.

India handed over the first consignment of more than 11 tons of emergency relief materials including tripal, tarpaulin seats, blankets, sleeping bags, essential medicines and medical equipment to the Nepal government on Sunday.
