Kathmandu- A delegation of the 63rd batch of the National Defense College, consisting of 16 senior officers from the civil services and defense forces of India and allied countries Germany, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia, Britain and Oman, visited Nepal from 10th to 14th of Bhadra.

The visiting team led by Air Vice Marshal Manish Kumar Gupta had a courtesy meeting with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Defense Minister Poorna Bahadur Khadka, Foreign Minister Narayan Prasad Saud and Home Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha.

The team also met with former student of NDC and Chief of Staff of Nepal Army, Maharathi Prabhuram Sharma and discussed bilateral military cooperation.

NDC is one of the world’s leading training institutes for training senior defense and civil service officers on broad aspects of national strategy and strategy.

Senior officers of the Indian Defense Forces and Civil Services as well as the officers of the Allied Armed Forces participated in the course.

Three Nepali Army officers are participating in the course currently being conducted. Since 1992, 18 serving Nepali army officers and 24 other retired officers, including the Chief of Nepal Army, Maharathi Prabhuram Sharma, have received training from this NDC.
