He has also given notice of the complaint to the Ministry of Home Affairs, Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, District Administration Office, Kushma Parbat and Nepali Embassy, London.

Gahamgar met Interpol National Central Bureau (NCB) Nepal SSP Anupam Samsher Rana on Wednesday and consulted about the process.

Acharya has a British passport with him after renewing his Nepali passport number 2418161 from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Passport Department) on July 6, 2014. Currently, Acharya has a Nepali passport number 07585039 and a British passport with him.

Acharya got an NRN card from British passport in 2013 during the time of Tej Bahadur Chhetri, the then Deputy Chief of Mission for Britain.

It is confirmed that Nepali citizenship has been obtained from the district administration office,” the complaint said.

Gahamgar has filed a complaint with the request that Acharya be investigated and prosecuted according to the prevailing Nepali laws, as it appears that he applied for a Nepali passport from London in 2014 by submitting false information as a Nepali citizen while the passport taken as a British citizen was valid from 2012 to 2022.

He has warned the British immigration office to file a complaint against Acharya after he returned to the UK for claiming to be a British citizen by pretending to be a Nepalese refugee from Bhutan.
