Kathmandu – A charity show of the Hollywood film ‘Barbie’ has been organized with the aim of raising financial support for FMNW (Former Miss Nepal) scholarship program. The charity premiere of the film held at QFX Cinema Civil Mall in collaboration with DM Foundation, a non-profit organization and former Miss Nepal.

DM Foundation and FMNW in collaboration are providing scholarships for education up to secondary level (SEE) according to the funds of the foundation, looking at the family financial situation of children all over Nepal who have lost their parents/guardians due to covid-19. Under which scholarship has been given to 13 children so far and with the aim of increasing that number, the movie ‘Barbie’ was premiered.

The charity show has been sponsored by famous brands and companies like Dabur Nepal, Haldirams, Brij Cement, Urja Jewellers, Shubhashree College, Wow Popcorn, Bheda Salon, Makuse, Vettayo and Ivash Consulting. The audience who attended the movie premiere said that the charity evening was entertaining and charitable.

While attending the event, Chief Executive Officer of IMS Group, Dikesh Malhotra thanked the audience who attended the movie premiere and the audience who bought tickets and sponsored, and all the brands, FMNW that supported. He mentioned that these kinds of charity work will play a very important role in making DM Foundation and FMNW’s scholarship program nationwide.

He said, “This will help to give proper education to children. Because children are our future. I want to thank everyone who helped in this work.’

Former Miss Nepals Usha Khadgi, Preeti Sitaula, Ashmi Shrestha, Shrinkhala Khatiwada, Srichchha Pradhan and others were present at the charity show.
