Kathmandu – Chandiraj Dhakal, Former president of FNCCI, has participated in the 12th South Asian Business Leaders’ Summit held in Yancity, China.

In the conference organized with the main slogan of ‘Share the Opportunities of the Era, Create Prosperity of the Region’. On behalf of Nepal, along Dhakal Dr. Kayur Shersingh and RS Bhandari also participated in the summit.

The program organized by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and the Sichuan Provincial Peoples Government SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry was held in the Jing GM Hotel. At the conference, What can South Asia learn from China’s booming tourism and business sector, especially in the midst of the wave that the Corona epidemic has brought to the world economic market? And the role of China in that regard, were discussed.

Dhakal, Acting President of saarc CCI, represented Nepal through his keynote presentation at the conference. According to him, his presentation focused on the fact that Nepal can only stimulate its economy through the coordination of neighbouring countries, China and India. Along with Dhakal, Yang Jingping, Deputy Head of the Sichuan Provincial People’s Government, representatives of Thailand and Pakistan also shared their opinion on how the opportunities in the South Asian region can be directed towards prosperity.

The program held on July 28 and 29 was conducted by CCPIT Vice President Lee Juji. The conference was attended by high-level government representatives, business associations and representatives from Asian companies.
