Kathmandu – The Minister of Foreign Affairs NP Saud met his Indian counterpart S. Jaishankar. They met on Friday at the 6th Indian Ocean Conference in Dhaka, Bangladesh, for the first time.

In the meeting, Indian Foreign Minister Jaishankar congratulated Foreign Minister Saund on getting the responsibility of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and expressed his best wishes for his tenure. Jaishankar also said that bilateral partnership was discussed in the meeting. He said that the two countries also talked about energy, connectivity, and people-to-people permanent relations.

Foreign Minister Saud left for Bangladesh friday to participate in the Indian Ocean Conference.
