Kathmandu – Renowned fashion and pageant choreographer, Aswini Kant Jha has been felicitated at the 4th Epic Nepal Music Awards ceremony for his outstanding contributions to the modeling industry of Nepal. The award ceremony held at Dui Pokhari in Madhyapur Thimi municipality of Bhaktapur was graced by the presence of former Prime Minister of Nepal, K. P. Sharma Oli, who personally congratulated Aswini on his achievements.
The chief guest of the program, former Prime Minister Oli presented the certificate of felicitation to Aswini in the presence of Basudev Thapa, mayor of Suryavinayak Municipality and Madan Sundar Shrestha, the former mayor of Madhyapur Thimi Municipility which was also joined by Oli’s wife and the patron of Manav Sewa Ashram Radhika Shakya, veteran actress Gauri Malla and Basundhara Bhushal.
‘The National Beauty pageant and fashion choreographer honor decorated my portfolio and has given me energy to work harder in upcoming days’ said Mr. Jha in his acceptance speech. He also thanked the organizers Epic Nepal, along with the co-organizers Surya Vinayak Municipility and Madhyapur Thimi Municipality for their love towards uplifiting the art and artist. Such social and mass recognition and felicitation which will encourage the artist like him and the younger generations to stay motivated and uplift the fashion and pageantry sector in Nepal. He also mentioned that his grooming classes are not only limited to models but his trainings are equally beneficial for the persons who seek their future in fashion designing and styling in the industry.
4th Epic Nepal Music Award also honored Mahanayak Rajesh Hamal with the Mahanayak Samman for his excellent contribution to Nepali cinema for more than 3 decades. Others felicitaed personalities includes senior entertainment journalist Prakash Subedi who was felicitated with National Entertainment Journalist Honor meanwhile Gopi Krishna Chapagain was felicitated with Youth Journalist Honor. In the same event senior singer Tirtha Kumari Thapa was felicitaed with Musical Gem Honor and Purnima Lama recieved the Sangeet Ratna Honor. Silver Jubilee National Folk Duet Honor was presented to senior folkduet singer Chandra Sharma.
The 4th Epic Nepal Music award ceremony also awarded different awards to the winners of respective categories from the music industry.
President of Film Producers Association Naval Khadka, famous artist Lakshmi Giri, singer Yash Kumar, Deepak Bajracharya, Dhiraj Rai, Yama Baral, Ramchandra Kafle, singer Junu Rizal and other eminent personalities grandeur the event with their performance.
