Kawasoti- Two persons died as two trucks collided head on at Dumkauli along the East-West Highway in Nawalparasi East district last night.

Two other persons have sustained injuries after the incident. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of District Police Office, Nawalparasi East Dilip Kumar Giri said that both the deceased are truck drivers. The deceased have been identified as 51-year-old Khim Bahadur BK, truck driver of Na 6 Kha 3011) of Pokhara Metropolitan City-15 and Raj Kumar Neupane, 34, of Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City.

Helpers of both the trucks, Bishwash Shahi, 18, of Tanahun district and Ghanshyam Khadka, 33, of Dang have sustained critical injuries. DSP Giri said that Shahi and Khadka are receiving treatment in a medical college in Bharatpur. RSS
