The fourth Everest Premier League (EPL), the franchise Twenty20 cricket tournament, has been postponed for indefinite time following the fear of corona virus, said managing director of the EPL, Aamir Aktar. The infection started from Wuhan in China has spread over more than five dozen countries. The postponement followed discussions with the Nepal Cricket Association, participating teams and sponsors, he said. “We will set new date for the game after the situation created by the virus comes under control,” he said. The EPL was scheduled for March 14-28 at Kirtipur-based Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground. Six teams, Lalitpur, Kathmandu Kings 11, Pokhara Rhinos, Chitwan Tigers, Bhairahawa Gladiators and Biratanagar Warriors will participate in the match, he said.
