Unity utmost in party: President Deuba

Major Opposition Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has stressed on unity and consent to strengthen the party organization and mechanism.

In a discussion with NC district party Presidents at his own residence at Budhanilkantha today, President Deuba opined to hold immediate talks with disgruntled party leaders and fraction.

According to Kavrepalanchok NC President Madhu Achary, President Deuba blamed the government of exercising to curtail public freedom and rights through media bill and bill regarding to the formation of Special Service. On the occasion, the district party Presidents have urged Deuba to correct the latest central working committee decisions and forge consensus with disgruntled sides.

Also present on the occasion were, vice president duo Bimalendra Nidhi, Bijay Kumar Gachchhadar, General secretary Purna Bahadur Khadka, joint general secretary Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat, spokesperson Bishwa Prakash Sharma among other central leaders.
