Kathmandu– A five members team headed by Professor Dr. A.K Azad Khan from Hamdard Laboratories and Hamdard University Bangladesh visited Kathmundu, Nepal in order to forge collaboration between
Nepal and Bangladesh for human recourse development in different sectors including health sciences.

They also discussed the possibilities of developing medicines from Natural products from Nepal. Discussions were also held regarding export of natural products from Hamdard Bangladesh until the time of production facilities developed in Nepal. Hamdard being a philanthropic organization proposed to offer education program at a much subsidized fees and in deserving cases provide
scholarship.

The team met Upendra Yadav, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, Mr. Giri Rajmani Pokharel, Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Mr. Khaga Raj Baral, Secretary General of Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and other high officials.

All of them expressed their interests in collaboration and invited a proposal. Mashfee Binte Shams, Ambassador of Bangladesh for Nepal expressed all support for the proposed collaboration.

A press conference followed by a dinner was held in the evening at Airport Hotel. The Vice Chancellor of Hamdard University made a multimedia presentation and answered all queries from those present.
