Gulariya, Bardiya – Despite the claim that all school-going age children of Barbardiya Municipality are covered by education system, at least 20 percent of children of the area are outside school, according to available data.

The Municipality has declared that the town was free of children out of school’s reach.
The declaration follows the Municipality’s launching of educational campaign this year’s academic season with the slogan ‘One child enrolment, my social responsibility, guarantee of access, stability in learning’.

The government should focus on collecting data on the number of children working in the country and some cities of neighbouring India and providing them free education, said Chief District Officer Ram Bahadur Kuruwang.  (RSS)
