Kathmandu – A musical fundraising event organized to support families affected by the recent Bhotekoshi flood has raised NPR 409,637.
The event was organized by PRV Entertainment in collaboration with Axix Band at Trisara Restaurant, with the objective of providing relief and support to victims of the devastating flood.
The funds were collected through ticket sales and contributions from various organizations and businesses supporting the initiative. The entire amount raised through the event has been handed over to the Bhotekoshi Relief Fund.
A flash flood in the Bhotekoshi River area of Rasuwa on August 26, 2026, caused significant loss of life and extensive damage to homes, roads, bridges, hydropower projects and other critical infrastructure. The disaster has left affected families and communities in urgent need of relief and assistance.
The fundraising initiative received support from Himalayan Productions, Roteping Entertainment, Wawa’s, Liqui Moly, Paudel Enterprises, Rotary Club of Vision Kathmandu, Fonepoints, Doko Tours, Samara Traders Enterprises, Live Solution, eSewa, Legendary Motors Hub and Anigraphy Studio.
Axix Band performed during the event, making the program both engaging and meaningful while encouraging collective support for flood-affected communities. The organizers expressed gratitude to all supporting organizations, businesses, guests, ticket purchasers, artists, volunteers, photographers and videographers who contributed to the success of the fundraising campaign.
The organizers said the initiative demonstrates the power of community, music and collective responsibility in extending timely support to people affected by humanitarian crises.
