Kathmandu-  Garima Bikas Bank Limited has officially shifted its central office from Lazimpat to Baluwatar, Kathmandu.

The bank inaugurated its newly constructed central office building at Baluwatar on Wednesday, August 19. Nepal Rastra Bank Governor Prof. Dr. Biswanath Poudel inaugurated the new premises amid a special ceremony.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Chief Executive Officer Madhav Prasad Upadhyay said the bank’s journey from Waling to Pokhara and eventually Kathmandu has been driven by the trust of customers, shareholders, regulators, business partners and the hard work of its employees.

Bank Chairman Dilip Pratap Kha said the institution would continue to focus on providing convenient, effective and quality banking services while giving priority to institutional governance, technology, innovation and sustainable development.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Nepal Rastra Bank Governor Prof. Dr. Biswanath Poudel, Securities Board of Nepal Chairman Dr. Gopal Prasad Bhatt, officials from regulatory agencies, members of the bank’s board, former officials, senior management, representatives of banks and financial institutions, shareholders, employees and customers.
