Madhesh Province Chief Minister Yadav says agriculture is their first priority

Mahottari – The Chief Minister of Madhesh Province, Krishna Prasad Yadav, has said that the provincial government will carry out works keeping the agricultural sector in the first priority.

Addressing the congratulatory and best wishes programme organised in his honour by the Nepal Hotel and Tourism Entrepreneurs Association Madhes Province in Lalgadh today, CM Yadav stated that agriculture-related programmes will be prioritised and promoted. “Modernisation of agriculture is necessary to make Madhes prosperous. Therefore, irrigation projects have been initiated to be completed within two years,” he declared on the occasion.

CM Yadav said that programmes to support farmers in adopting modern agricultural systems along with irrigation will be expanded. “Although Madhes is fertile for agriculture, due to the lack of necessary resources for farming, farmers have not been able to achieve the expected production,” Chief Minister Yadav pointed out.

He stated that the provincial government’s focus will now be on boosting agricultural resources and supporting farmers. He mentioned that it is necessary to work with special plans to improve the education and health conditions in Madhesh. Similarly,

CM Yadav informed that special plans for development of tourism infrastructure will be made. At the event, the programme hists, the Association Madhes Province Committee presented a letter of appreciation to Chief Minister Yadav. The programme was conducted under the chairmanship of Association Madhes Province President Hiralal Gautam. RSS
