Chairman of Nepal Communist Party (NCP), Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said the debate and discussion in party are normal till the achievement of communism. The party should accept debate and struggles, he stressed at an orientation programme organized by the party’s Bagmati State committee. “Some of us can imagine peace, politeness and harmony among leaders and cadres,” he said, adding, “The day the party eliminates disputes that is what the communism is.” He argued that people’s aspiration was respected with party unity and their hope would not be dampened. Chairman Dahal reminded, “Communist party is not a pond but a murmuring river.” The party unity was possible with the integration of thoughts, process and leadership. He further said with the unification, the NCP got landslide victory, reached atop country’s leadership, won people’s trust and made history. He however urged the cadres not to believe everything reported in media about the party issues. “There’s not any serious dispute in the party. Although the two chairmen depute on different issues, we always settle it,” he reminded. Chairman Dahal underscored that party would not split.
