Kathmandu- Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) lawmaker Badan Bhandari has described Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle’s remarks in New Delhi, India, as thoughtful and well-considered.

Speaking at an interaction organised by Reporters Club Nepal in Kathmandu on Sunday, Bhandari said Wagle’s statement that the trend of becoming a nationalist by opposing India in Nepal had come to an end was made with careful consideration. He said there was no need for unnecessary criticism or commentary on the finance minister’s remarks.

Bhandari also highlighted rising inflation as one of the major challenges facing the government, noting that the administration had already completed six months in office. He urged the government to give special attention to controlling inflation and take concrete measures to ease the burden on the public.

The RSP lawmaker further stated that the current government has a five-year term and asserted that it would fulfil public expectations during its tenure.
