Kathmandu- Ncell has introduced a new 60-second pulse rate for international outgoing calls to 198 countries, effective August 18, 2026.
The revised pulse rate has been implemented following approval from the Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA) on August 7, 2026. The approval was granted in accordance with the NTA’s decision under Section 42 of the Telecommunications Act, 2053.
The new 60-second pulse rate applies to international destinations including Australia, Bahrain, Canada, the United States, China, India, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, France, Germany, Italy, Thailand, Turkey, Mexico, Russia, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Poland, Romania, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Lebanon, Libya and others.
Ncell said the revised pulse rate is applicable to international outgoing calls to a total of 198 countries. Customers can check the complete list of countries covered by the new pulse rate, along with applicable international call and SMS charges, through the International Call and SMS Rates section on Ncell’s official website.
