Kathmandu-  Chery Wanda has showcased its range of smart electric commercial vans at the ongoing NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu.

The company is displaying 11-, 12-, 14- and 16-seat electric commercial vehicles at Stall No. 16 in Hall D of the expo, which is being held from August 11 to 16.

Designed for commercial operators, schools, colleges and passenger transportation, the electric vans feature modern technology, high battery capacity, strong power output and high ground clearance.

The 11- and 12-seat models are equipped with a 41.86 kWh battery, 70 kW peak power and 180 mm ground clearance, offering a claimed range of up to 300 km on a single charge.

The 14-seat model comes with a 53.58 kWh battery, 80 kW peak power and 200 mm ground clearance, with a range of up to 300 km.

The 16-seat electric minibus is available with 53.58 kWh and 70 kWh battery options, depending on the variant. It delivers 80 kW or 120 kW peak power and features 210 mm ground clearance, with a claimed range of 280 to 350 km.

With increasing interest in electric commercial vehicles, Chery Wanda expects its EV vans to offer a modern, comfortable and environmentally friendly transportation option for both passengers and commercial users.

The company has also introduced a collateral-free hire-purchase facility for customers purchasing its electric commercial vehicles. The financing option is expected to make EV ownership more accessible to businesses and individuals.
