Kathmandu- Samsung Nepal has announced the successful completion of its latest Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC) Coding & Programming course and has opened applications for a new Artificial Intelligence (AI) course, reaffirming its commitment to nurturing Nepal’s next generation of digital talent.
The Coding & Programming course, conducted from December 22, 2025, to June 30, 2026, provided participants with practical technical skills, hands-on project experience, and exposure to industry practices. Graduates of the program were recognized at a special ceremony celebrating their successful completion.
Speaking on the occasion, Chang Uk Jung, Managing Director of Samsung Nepal, said that when he first visited Samsung Innovation Campus shortly after arriving in Nepal last December, he saw tremendous potential among Nepalese youth.
“Today, I am proud to see that potential turning into real achievement. As artificial intelligence reshapes every industry, developing digital talent is more important than ever. Through Samsung Innovation Campus, Samsung is equipping young people with the skills, confidence, and innovative mindset needed to help lead Nepal’s digital future,” he said.
Samsung Innovation Campus was launched in Nepal in 2023 under Samsung’s global Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) vision, “Together for Tomorrow! Enabling People.” The program aims to equip young people with industry-relevant skills in emerging technologies while strengthening essential workplace competencies such as communication, collaboration, and critical thinking.
According to Samsung Nepal, the newly launched AI program has been designed in response to the growing demand for professionals with artificial intelligence expertise. Built around practical learning and real-world applications, the course will help participants develop AI capabilities while encouraging innovative solutions to Nepal’s evolving development challenges.
Beyond classroom learning, Samsung Nepal will continue supporting graduates through mentorship from Samsung employees and industry experts, innovation projects, and career guidance. The company also plans to establish a Samsung Innovation Campus Alumni Network, enabling graduates to stay connected, continue learning, and mentor future participants.
Samsung Nepal emphasized that stronger collaboration among academia, industry, and government will be essential for building Nepal’s AI ecosystem, expanding career opportunities, and accelerating the country’s digital transformation.
