Kathmandu – MetLife Nepal has officially inaugurated its services in Jumla, a notable advancement in extending financial security and insurance solutions to one of Nepal’s most remote and underserved regions. The expansion is part of MetLife Nepal’s commitment to make insurance more accessible across the country, even in remote communities.
Understanding the unique challenges faced by Jumla’s residents—such as limited infrastructure and distance from financial services—MetLife Nepal’s local agency office is designed to provide personalized customer support, promote financial literacy, and create employment opportunities within the community. This initiative aims to give local families practical tools and guidance to help them build a financially secure future.
To further support the Jumla community, MetLife Nepal has partnered with Surya Social Service Society to donate Smart Boards to Chandannath Higher Secondary School and Janata Secondary School. This donation is significantly enhancing educational experiences, providing students with engaging, interactive learning environments and equipping teachers with advanced classroom technology. Alongside these efforts, MetLife Nepal is also conducting insurance awareness campaigns aimed at empowering local youth with knowledge to foster responsible financial habits and encourage long-term financial planning.
