Kartik – The construction work of 11 High Impact Community Development Projects (HICDPs) in 10 different districts has progressed with the financial assistance of the Indian Government.
For this, an agreement was signed between the project implementing agencies including the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration and the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu on Monday.
These projects to be constructed in 10 different districts from Koshi to Sudurpaschim Province are related to the education, health and sanitation sectors. The Indian Embassy has stated that the construction process of these projects will move forward with the grant assistance of 1.16 billion Nepali rupees from the Government of India.
Including the 11 projects launched on Monday, the Indian Government has so far taken forward 590 HICDPs in Nepal. These projects are spread across all 7 provinces of Nepal, with a cumulative cost of more than 15 billion.
