KATHMANDU: Nabil Bank Limited has appointed Manoj Kumar Gyawali as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The decision was made during the bank’s 682nd Board of Directors meeting held on Thursday morning. He has been appointed for a term of four years.
Gyawali had been serving as the Acting CEO prior to his official appointment. Widely recognized as motivational speaker and a clear communicator, he brings with him extensive experience from leadership roles at Nepal Rastra Bank and various commercial banks. Also a qualified Chartered Accountant, he holds over 26 years of experience in the banking and capital markets sector, including key roles at Nepal Rastra Bank, Global IME Bank, Global IME Capital, and Jyoti Bikas Bank.
With his capable and visionary leadership, Nabil Bank is expected to excel and continue strengthening its position across various financial indicators and reach new milestones in the days ahead.
In the same meeting, the board also promoted Deputy General Manager Adarsha Bazgain as Deputy Chief Executive Officer, and assigned Vishma Neupane, Chief of Legal Department, with the responsibility of Company Secretary.
