Kathmandu- Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank has handed over a public awareness board to the community police.

The bank has handed over various public awareness sign boards, masks and sanitizers to the Metropolitan Police Circle, Maligaun under the ‘Community-Police Partnership’ program.

Director of the Bank Bishweshwor Subedi and Deputy Chief Executive Officer Hari Prasad Lamsal jointly handed over the materials at a function held at the central office building of the bank.

Hari Prasad Lamsal, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Bank, addressed the program chaired by Director Subedi. Are He also said that such social activities will be continued in the coming days with the coordination and cooperation of the stakeholders.

Similarly, ward no. Dal Bahadur Karki, Ward Chairman of 30, said that the bank has done exemplary work for the society by distributing traffic lights, warm clothes and educational materials to the children of low income families, sanitation, financial literacy campaign, peace and security and reduction of road accidents by distributing awareness posters and signboards. He thanked them with appreciation.

Similarly, Min Bahadur Kunwar, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Metropolitan Police Circle, Maligaun, said that he was very happy that the bank had done such important work for the welfare of the community considering its social responsibility in addition to its business.

After the handover ceremony, the bank’s director Subedi and superintendent Kunwar also unveiled a joint public awareness board in Sano Gaucharan. The bank is confident that the boards will be placed in different parts of the city and it will send a positive message to the people.
