A group of unknown people have hurled explosives at the residence of Dr Shobhakant Dhakal at Sanubharyang, Kathmandu this evening. According to Deputy Inspector General DIG at Metropolitan Police Office Bishwaraj Pokhrel, Netra Bikram Chand-led group has taken responsibility behind the explosion. The incident took place this evening at 7:14. However, there are no reports of any human casualty.
The explosion has broken window panes whereas the vehicle parked at the house premises has been damaged a little, informed senior superintendent of police SSP Hobindra Bogati. The police has been investigating the incident site. The full details of the incident is yet to be revealed. Dhakal was involved in a of Lalita Niwas land scam at Baluwatar.
