Beni, Nov 4 – Social worker of Chimkhola in ward no. 7 of Raghuganga rural municipality of Myagdi Duta Garbuja Pun (Chimkhole Kainla) has set up a fund of Rs. One million to help the education of poor children.

The fund was established in memory of his parents Sher Bahadur and Janima to support the education of students from the poor communities in Chim Khola. Pun is currently living in the United Kingdom.
At least one hundred thousand rupees will be distributed to students from school to the university level every year, according to social worker Pun, who had reached his birthplace recently.

Pun also distributed Rs. 50,000 this year to two students of Chimkhola. Prior to this, he had established the Sher Janima memorial prize to award best students of various schools in Chimkhola. (RSS)
