Kathmandu, July 1: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has started regular meeting with the CPN lawmakers of the federal parliaments. Prime Minister Oli met with lawmakers representing from Province No. 1 at Singha Durbar-based Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers for the first time on Sunday.

Saying the lawmakers should inform the people about government’s policy and programme as well as disseminate message among the people about government’s activities, PM Oli said that it will be corrected in next year’s budget if there was some weaknesses in budget allocation.

He further said that all necessary laws would be formulated by September 19 for the implementation of the constitution and urged all the lawmakers to get knowledge about modern technology.
Present in the meeting were deputy parliamentary leader of CPN Subas Nembang, Chief Whip Dev Prasad Gurung and Chief Whip of National Assembly Dinanath Sharma, among others.

Prime Minister Oli is scheduled to meet province-level lawmakers on every Friday. The meeting scheduled for every Friday was not held on June 29 due to other priorities of the PM.
Similarly, PM Oli is scheduled to meet the party cadres on first and 15th of every month. He will hold meeting from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Dhumbarahai-based party office on 1st day and at Paris Danda-based party office on 15th, said PM’s Press Coordinator Chetan Adhikari.
