Province no. 5: Financial Bill endorsed

Butwal, June 28: The Provincial Assembly has endorsed the financial bill, 2075 of province no. 5 with a majority.
Speaker Purna Bahadur Gharti had put forth the bill for a decision of the provincial assembly. Prior to this, Chief Minister and Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning Shankhar Pokharel had tabled the bill seeking consideration on the bill.
The Nepali Congress however voted against the Bill.
Earlier, responding to the queries raised by parliamentarians in the assembly, Chief Minister Pokharel urged the main opposition to move ahead on the basis of consensus, collaboration and solidarity, as their concerns could be addressed through policy.
