Kathmandu – The foundation stone of Ngonga Thekchok Choling Meditation Center, which is to be built in Solukhumbu, has been laid. The foundation stone of the center, which is being built with Indian grants, was laid on the occasion of Buddha Purnima.

During a ceremony on Friday, Surya Bahadur Kulung, Chairman of Mahakulung Municipality of the district, and Naveen Srivastava, Indian Ambassador to Nepal, jointly laid the foundation stone.

It is believed that this kind of cooperation will further strengthen the friendly relations between Nepal and India.
