Tanahun, Jan 8 (RSS): Ramayan Building has been constructed at Shikharkateri of Bhanu municipality-4 at a cost of Rs 30 million.
Department of Tourism and Bhanu Birthplace Development Committee jointly constructed the building, according to Bhanu municipality.
Mayor of Bhanu municipality Udayraj Gauli said that artistic Ramayan building has been constructed targeting Visit Nepal year-2020 in Tanahun, the birthplace of Adikavi Bhanubhakta Acharya.
Outgoing executive director of Bhanu Birthplace Development Committee, Shankar Ranabhat, said that a master plan has been formulated to construct different physical infrastructures like Bhanu house, canteen, library and pond in around 10 ropanis area.
Similarly, 100-feet tall statue of Adikavi would be constructed to further attract tourists, added municipality. Necessary initiative has been taken to upgrade road from Chundi Ramghabesi to Shikharkateri as problem has been surfaced in movement due to gravel road, said ward chair Purna Bahadur Laudaribhat.
