Kathmandu– India’s Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Shri Bhupender Yadav, met with the Prime Minister of Nepal, the Rt. Hon. Shri KP Sharma Oli, on the sidelines of the Sagarmatha Sambaad in Kathmandu today.
During the meeting, Minister Yadav conveyed India’s appreciation to the Government of Nepal for organizing the first edition of the Sagarmatha Sambaad, focusing on the theme “Climate Change, Mountains, and the Future of Humanity.” He expressed that such platforms are vital for fostering global dialogue and regional cooperation on pressing environmental issues.
Both leaders expressed a shared commitment to strengthening bilateral ties, particularly in the areas of clean energy, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable management of natural resources.
Minister Yadav also extended his heartfelt gratitude for the warm hospitality extended by the Government and people of Nepal during his visit.
