Dailekh – The foundation stone for the construction of a multi-purpose building at Shree Nepal National Secondary School in Dullu Municipality, Dailekh, has been laid.
The building, which will be constructed with Indian assistance, was inaugurated on Monday by Ghanshyam Bhandari, the Social Development Minister of Karnali Province, Avinash Kumar Singh, the Counselor at the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu, and Bharat Prasad Rizal, the Mayor of Dullu Municipality.
The project is part of the Nepal-India Development Cooperation and will be funded by the Government of India with a total cost of NPR 3.9 crores. The construction will be a three-and-a-half-story building, which will include areas for handicraft exhibitions, a library, a cultural hall related to Dullu state, a multi-purpose hall, office space, and other associated facilities.
The project is considered a High Impact Community Development Project (HICDP) and will be implemented through Dullu Municipality as informed by the Indian Embassy.
