Kathmandu- Indian Army Major General Charanjit Singh Devgan has paid a 6-day official visit to Nepal. He came to Nepal on September 30.
According to the Indian Embassy, during the visit, he reached Pokhara and honored the valor award winners and brave women in the ex-serviceman rally. Similarly, he visited various branches of the Defense Department and Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) Polyclinic.
During his visit, Major General Devgan had a courtesy meeting with the Commander-in-Chief of the Nepalese Army Maharathi Ashokraj Sigdel at the Nepalese Army headquarters. On that occasion, there was a discussion between them about further advancing India’s bilateral military relationship with Nepal and strengthening the relationship between the armies of the two countries.
He praised the staff of the Defense Division at the Indian Embassy for the efficient professional role they played in advancing the bilateral relations between the two countries and the efforts taken for the welfare of ex-servicemen in Nepal.
