Eleven persons arrested with muzzle loaders

Police here have arrested 11 persons along with as many home-made guns. Police made the arrests on the basis of a photo a child had unknowingly uploaded in the social site from his parent’s mobile phone.

These people were held from Tamankhola rural municipality, ward no 2 of west Baglung. The area Police Office Burtibang carried out a raid at the locality on Tuesday night after looking at the photo uploaded in the social networking site. Police have continued the raid on suspicion of confiscating more such illegal firearms on the basis of the information given by the arrested persons.

Meanwhile, the Area Police Office Burtibang has arrested 10 persons when they were slaughtering oxen at Khaptaribang of Dhorpatan Municipality-2. RSS
