Concept paper of ‘National youth vision-2025’ unveiled

The National Youth Policy Review and Youth Vision-2025 taskforce has made public its concept paper. Unveiling the concept paper amidst a programme on Thursday, Chairperson of Youth Development Centre Arun Khadka stressed the need to mainstream youth in the development efforts of the country. State Assembly member Umita BK, Bal Bahadur Samsuhang and Kumari Samba highlighted the need of implementing youth policy. Legal consultant of the state ministry of social development Koshraj Neupane shared that the state government also had put forward the process for forming State Youth Council and a bill to that end would be tabled in the fifth State Assembly. Youth Council Sunsari Chair Harka Jung Evon Limbu said the council would provide coordination support to the youths aspiring to adopt entrepreneurship.
