Kathmandu-  Nepal’s first non-government children’s hospital Ishaan has held its 26th general meeting.

On Saturday, Ishan Women’s and Children’s Hospital held its 26th Annual General Meeting in its new building at Tokha-5.

Addressing the program, the executive director of the hospital Prof. Dr. Ramnandan Prasad Chaudhary informed about the progress achieved by the hospital so far.

He stated that, while gained a reputation in the field of neonatal and pediatric surgeons in Nepal, Ishan has been providing quality services of SAARC level.

‘Similarly, the hospital, which has been providing pediatric, emergency services and all health services related to children and women for 24 hours from the MD Pediatrics Pediatric Registrar, has already constructed an 8 floor building’, Chaudhary informed. He said that the building has been constructed on its own land of 6.5 ropany in Tokha-5 Shree Tol, just 250 meters behind the Ishan’ current building in Basundhara as per the plan to increase the time-related facilities and capacity.

According to him, there is a plan to provide modern and quality services from the new building of the hospital soon. Dr. Chaudhary has also commitment to provide reliable quality services to the patients by providing pediatric and other health services and blood bank services after moving to  the own building.
