Kathmandu- The sixth Ayurveda Day is celebrated at the Indian Embassy on Monday.

On the eve of Ayurveda Day at the Embassy, ​​Swami Vivekananda Cultural Center, Embassy of India, Kathmandu and Ayurveda Campus, Institute of Medical Studies, Tribhuvan University have jointly organized ‘Health Week’.

The event is organized as part of the year-round Independence Day celebrations to mark the 75th anniversary of India’s independence.

An international webinar titled ‘Ayurveda-Possibilities and Challenges for Health’ was organized during the week-long festival.

Rector of Tribhuvan University Prof. Dr. Shivlal Bhusal, Assistant Dean of the Institute of Medical Studies Prof. Dr. Pradeep Vaidya, Campus Head of Ayurveda Campus Dr. Shiva Mangal Prasad and First Secretary of the Press, Information and Culture Division of the Embassy of India Navin Kumar were also present.

Similarly, around 200 experts and students from India, Nepal and other countries participated in the webinar.

Ayurveda Day (Dhanvantari Jayanti) is also celebrated in Nepal as National Health Day.
