Kathmandu- The 14th Nepal-India Security Meeting has been concluded.

A bilateral meeting on security issues between Nepal and India was held in Bengaluru, India on Wednesday.

During the meeting, mutual security was discussed between the two countries and issues related to the training and construction needs of Nepal’s defense forces, assistance in disaster promotion and the need for Nepal Army for defense storage were discussed.

The two sides also discussed issues related to bilateral cooperation, exchange of expert level training, high level and functional level joint visits, joint sports, adventure sports activities and disaster management.

The meeting was attended by Tirtharaj Wagle, Joint Secretary, Ministry of External Affairs (South Asia) and Anurag Srivastava, Joint Secretary (North), Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.

Representatives of the Ministries of Defense, Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Home Affairs and Disaster Relief were also present at the event.
