Kathmandu: Ncell Axiata Limited has brought a special offer of ‘First SIM’ for SEE students.
According to the company, under this scheme, SEE students can avail various benefits including purchase of prepaid SIM for just Rs 1 as well as bonus balance on recharge, free MyFive service and bonus data.
The company says that the offer, which is said to come from Tuesday (September 4), can be availed by all the students who have passed the SEE 2078 exam by purchasing a SIM from the nearest Ncell center.
Students who get the first SIM under the scheme will get Rs 20 main balance and 150 MB data every day for 30 days on the first recharge of Rs 100 or more within seven days of activating the SIM. Similarly, for every recharge of Rs 50 or more, you can avail various bonus facilities for up to 6 months. On such recharge, students get 500 MB of data valid for 3 days, 50 minutes talk time to call other Ncell numbers and 50 SMS bonuses to be sent to other Ncell numbers.
Students will need a copy of their passport size photo, a photocopy of their Class 10 Commerce sheet, their citizenship or a photocopy of their parent’s citizenship to get this SIM. This SIM can be availed by the student from Ncell Center.
In addition to attractive bonuses on voice, data and SMS, the plan also offers a free MyFive service. Students can easily set up a maximum of five Ncell numbers in the MyFive group to keep in touch. After placing the numbers in the MyFive group, students can communicate on those numbers for only 50 paisa per minute for the first 30 days. After 30 days, this service will be continued on recharge of Rs. 100 or more.
Students can dial Astrix 17164 and put the five Ncell numbers they need to keep in touch with in the MyFive group as per the instructions. After placing 5 numbers in the MyFive service group, if any number in it has to be removed and another number has to be added, a fee of Rs. 5 will be charged for each change except tax.
Ncell has stated that it is happy to continue the first SIM scheme to ensure access to telecommunication services at affordable rates for students who have completed SEE. Ncell believes that this first SIM plan bundled with various services is of great importance to help students stay in touch with friends, family and connect with the world through mobile internet.
