Police have arrested a Bangladeshi national, Dula Miya, on the charge of murdering his friend. Miya had been absconding after killing Mohamuddin Ahmad, proprietor of Sunray Travel ad Tours Pvt Ltd in Dhaka. Miya and Ahmad had arrived Kathmandu together on January 20. Chief at the Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu, Senior Superintendent of Police Uttamraj Subedi, said Miya, who had been absconding after murdering Ahmad at room no 114 of Soltimod-based Hotel Grand Villa attacking with a liquor bottle, was arrested from Lahan on Wednesday night. The incident had occurred on January 20. Police said that absconding Miya was arrested while he was returning to Nepal again via Raxaul and Kakadvitta. Accused Miya is manager at Ocean Travel and Tors Pvt. Ltd, run by brother of Ahmad. Although the incident had taken place on January 20, police was informed about the incident on January 21. However, the relatives of the deceased have taken the body four days ago after completing the necessary investigation.
