Kathmandu, Nov 4 – Noted human rights activist Padma Ratna Tuladhar has passed away. He was 78. He died today amidst the treatment at Norvic International Hospital. Tualadhar who earned his identity as a leftist intellectual was admitted to the hospital following brain hemorrhage and had serious chest infection in the recent days, according to the family source.
He had his significant contribution to helping the Nepal Sambat get the national recognition. The former minister had contributed much to the Nepal’s peace process. He was a journalist and a litterateur as well. He is survived by his spouse, two daughters and two sons. His last rites will be conducted at the local Shobha Bhagawati tomorrow. (RSS)
