Kathmandu –  Minister for Finance, Dr Yubraj Khatiwada, presented ‘Insurance Bill-2075’ at today’s meeting of the House of Representatives.

Earlier, responding to queries raised by lawmakers, Finance Minister Khatiwada informed the House that necessary laws were being made to ensure people’s access to insurance.
He further said the current budget has arranged the insurance of Rs 100,000 free of cost to the people above 70 year, where the government would bear all responsibility for the same.

The Finance Minister clarified that an insurance authority was imagined to make insurance more systematic, effective and disciplined.  (RSS)
