Kathmandu, July 16: Vice Minister for Public Security Shi Jun has called on Minister for Home Affairs Ram Bahadur Thapa at latter’s office Singh Durbar today.
It is learnt that matters relating to Sino-Nepal relations and mutual cooperation among others were discussed in the meeting.
Minister Thapa thanked the Chinese government for extending support to Nepalese security bodies on training and equipments and construction of physical infrastructure.
He also assured the Chinese side that no anti- China activities will be allowed from the Nepali territory.
Similarly, vice minister stressed on developing bilateral relations at peoples level and thanked the Ministry for its role in curbing anti-Chinese activities in Nepal.
He also extended invitation to minister Thapa for China visit.
High level officials of the Ministry and Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Yu Hong were present on the occasion.
