KATHMANDU- The ‘Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train’ carrying about 500 Indian tourists is scheduled to arrive in Janakpurdham on July 25. The train, which left New Delhi on Tuesday evening, will reach Janakpurdham on Thursday, said Niranjan Kumar Jha, general manager of Nepal Railway Company.

Today, Tourism Minister Prem Ale and Indian Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnav will jointly inaugurate the first ‘India Pride Tourist Train’ connecting India and Nepal with a green flag at the Delhi Railway Station.

The train will operate at Ramayana Circuit and will connect Ayodhya, Nandigram, Sitamarhi, Vanaras, Prayagraj, Chitrakuta, Panchavati, Nashik, Hampi, Rameshwaram and Bhadrachalam religious destinations of India as well as religious areas of Janakpur in Nepal, said General Manager Jha.

About 500 Indian tourists are coming on the ‘Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train’ in coordination with the Indian Embassy and they are scheduled to visit various religious places in Janakpurdham.

According to the Indian Embassy, ​​in each compartment of the train, Indian monuments, dances, paraphernalia, costumes, festivals, flora and fauna, yoga, folk art, Indian art, culture, traditions, heritage and many more glimpses can be seen.
