Kathmandu- Choreographer Ashwini Kant Jha, who has made a name for himself in Nepali beauty pageants and fashion choreography, has been awarded the ‘Daksha Kala Samman’. Choreographer Jha was honored with the title at a function held in the capital.

Former Minister Raj Kishor Yadav, Nepali film hero Bhuwan KC and the head of the organization Tek Raj Pandey on behalf of the organizing organization jointly honored Jha with a doshalla and a certificate as the chief guest of the function.

Choreographer Ashwini has succeeded in establishing his dominance in the national and international arena by producing skilled and talented citizens in this field through his training in various competitions through Nepali beauty pageants and fashion choreography. He has been attacking the existing anomalies in the society through choreography and raising the voice of high priority by highlighting the social issues in various competitions.

Chief of the organizing body Pandey, said that he was very happy to be honored by Daksha International in recognition of his contribution to Nepali beauty pageant and other fashion for a decade and a half.

Choreographer Ashwini, who has been awarded the ‘National Youth Talent Award 2077’ by the Ministry of Youth in recognition of his contribution to the field of Nepali art through choreography, has already received many national and international awards and honors.

Accepting the award, choreographer Jha thanked the organizers and said that they would continue to work for the betterment of Nepali art and culture.

Choreographer Jha, comedian Prem Pandey, actor Uttam KC, film director Kalyan Adhikari, makeup artist Geeta Poudel, beautician Rachna Shakya and Renu Shakya Rana were also honored at the event.
